The British Interior and Furniture Designer Archive serves as an important historical record and academic resource; a record that starts from 1920 and continues decade by decade into the future.

It’s an archive which continues to grow in importance as successive generations of distinguished UK based designers add their personal archives to it; a record that will capture, in perpetuity,  the work of each featured designer and their contribution to the ever lengthening spiral of our collective designer DNA. 

The British Interior and Furniture Designer Archive was proposed and initiated by designers Derek Frost & Joanna Wood in 2025.
